so let's recap - it's been over a year now - chronamut no longer submits here, but he is uploading stuff other places, new remasters mixes etc- you can hear chronamut music now in 2 places:

1) Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/chronamut

2) Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/user/chronamut?sub_confirmation=1

continuing the experience..

enjoy.

Sounded kinda bland, the beat and instruments kept giving static-like sounds when they hit some low notes. I don't know if you remastered this song in later years but this should definitely be on your list to re-work on in the future if you haven't already.

Kicks off pretty bad, but I kind of like the super panned drums going on. Liking the kick sample, even though it's a little too dry for being so prominent in the mix. Slappy bass is pretty silly, but it is what it is with those old video game scores. That bell synth thing is harsh as all.

Love this song!

Almost as good as the Use Your Head segment.

Also, this and level 5's music are a lot alike, and New Junk City has some parts that are reminiscent of this too.

Chronamut responds:

yes I suppose they had a whoel theme going - my fave songs tho were snot a problem and for petes sake - I still wanna do a version of that - all dogs :P

thanks for the review!

Awesome

Love it, but isn't this technically Level 5's music? Haven't beaten EWJ so maybe I'm lost here.

Chronamut responds:

nope - this is the final level's music - I believe it's actually called "buttville".

thanks for the review!
