Hey there guys,

Here is another one of the ingame level tracks of the Elder Scrolls - Oblivion mod "RATHUNAS" i am working on right now. The mod is stil beta and offers a large (5-10 hours of gameplay) and elaborate quest with riddles and lots of wonderful details. 35 voiceactors were recorded. The mod is developed by Scott and Katherine Courtney who did an excellent job creating this great project.

If you liked the track also check out my Trailer i also composed the soundtrack for:

I hope you will enjoy the track! Honest votes and reviews are always highly appreciated!

Ugh. Lord, deliver me from this painful music. It needs more bombastic brass and epic strings.

Just kidding. I have had my share at making music for Oblivion mods as well, and I know how enjoyable it is. Someday you and I will collaborate on something I am sure of it.

Thank you, my good sir!
Yeah - composig for this kind of epic medieval inspired games / mods is really so much fun! There are stil so many things i want to try out. I was lucky to get a celtic / ancient english singing artist. I will be writing tavern songs for her within the next few weeks (similar to malukahs songs or the main theme of dragon age). The good thing is that the mod producer allows me to compose whatever i think would fit to the level / situation. So this is REALLY a lot of fun. Btw: Dont know if you already heared about it. ERA II Medieval Legends will be released in a few weeks. Eduardo worked over the patches / instruments and added about 25 new ones - like the cornetto or new fidules etc.

Another thing that came into my mind: Since you also are a big medieval fan --> Check out the medieval ensemble "EVO". They are so awesome - i find them extremely inspiring!

The voice of this singer is included in the ERA II Limited Edition btw - already ordered it :D

Btw - dont know if you have heared of it: There is a pretty cool looking medieval game (kickstarter - awesome what indie developers can do these days ...) called "Kingdom Come - Deliverance". Maybe this interests you, too:

All the best!

This is really awesome as well! I recognize the whisper that is similar to the one from your track "The Sorcerers Track" Now that I think about it, the Church Bell in the beginning of that track seems to be the same one that was used in the beginning of Sacerdotes "Sanctuarii"!!!

I love the medieval feel of this track. The playing feels very humanized, and might as well be a recording! (unless it actually is a recording o.O Now I'm not sure). This automatically means you did a great job, either way XD
Also, I like the sfx wind. It feels very warm.

Splendid work!

Thank you very much for another very kind review! Yeah i used the whisper also in the sorcerers path main theme. It is part of the Shevannai Library by Eduardo Tarilonte (awesome vsti btw - library of the year award 2014 etc...). The whisper is meant to be the voice of the goddess kynareth who starts to talk to the visitors of the shrine.

It is right that the feel is very similar to the track sacerdotes sanctuarii. Both tracks are used for the priory / cathedral in rathunas. While sacerdotes is the more "epic and powerful" track kynareth´s track is more intimate. I took that approach to make sure that nothing steals sacerdotes the show since IMO its the more extreme piece. On the other hand there is no hard break in feel. Both tracks in combination create a coherent sound while stil having different moods.

Thank you very much LucidShadowDreamer and all the best!
