War waged across lands. Famine haunted the people. Disease and toxic killed the sicks. Lawless and hopeless. A man and his child walked along the wasteland, created by their own kind. His child is the only hope for the future of our kind, he was tasked to protect the child. Would he succeed? Is there hope for these damned creatures?

The previous WIP was scrapped. This version worked to fit the set theme and story. Epic trailer hit wasn't my strongest style. Here, I tried something different and the skills that I could control. A total of 7 hours of works.

I took out the old Casio keyboard and bought 2 pedals. Then I hooked them up to MIDI CCs and play around until I find something stick. The piano melodies at beginning was the start for rest of the piece. Beside the storyline, there wasn't a set plan for how this piece should come out.

I didn't believed in myself that I could compose this piece. There were so many things to overcome. Limitation of resource, crashes, and my limited skill in cinematic music. But I tried to create different outcome every time. Every piece I have composed was the result of how I pushed myself further into unknown difficulty.

Sorrow 3.0 with upgrade? Every year, I wanted to do a piece as powerful as Sorrow, the piece that led me to success on NG. There were Melancholia, Calamity and Farewell. I weren't longing for front page or feature. What I wished for was non-stop breakthrough in my music. Just a set of goals...

i honestly thought this track was going to be a parody of tomorrowland, only because they play big room and just popular edm, i guess not lol.

but dude, this is crazy. it sounds like something you would find in a WoW or d3 soundtrack, everything is fluent and it's very consistent. you have plenty of potential producing cinematic music. it's purely beautiful. the choir also suits this piece, you really nailed this one dude.

Honestly I double thought about the title too. Tomorrowland is the world's largest and oldest EDM festival. However, I want to interpret the theme based on dark and dimming future of human race. Often we love to depict our future as beautiful and new, clean. But realistically we can never get to there. It's too ideal. The theme of this piece is bleach and depressing. A perfect setting for part of the bigger story of Reborn.

Thank you for your review a lot! :)

Incredible mix of suspense and peaceful resolves! OMG, what ISN'T wrong with this track? It's beautiful, the drums, piano, strings, pads, synths, AND A FREAKING CHOIR? Every transition was flawless, along with the amazing control in volume, and it's speed increases and decreases. This truly is a masterpiece.

I think the only thing wrong was myself. I couldn't bring myself to make this longer as planned (procrastination/dry of idea). Beside I think it is quite perfect being the current version. Because the more I add things to it the more messy it goes. So right now, this one is very good.

I'm writing a next piece, Before the End, with some of the elements from all other pieces and will be as amazing as Tomorrowland. So stay tuned! I'll release it whenever I think it's ready! (should be by next week or so)

Thank you again for your review!

This is an extremely epic piece. But it's quite a bit more as well.

Delightfully melodic. Splendid progression. The vocals were a nice surprise. Everything resonates very well with the narrative backdrop you wrote down. Awesome, awesome material.
