I initially scribbled this down right before summer and planned to post it then, thus the 'Then he's gone again...' at the end. It's been through a few revisions since then though, and eventually turned into a beast of a verse! Recorded in one take; edited just a little for reverb and clarity. Thoughts, critique, comments? Appreciate it!

I write music for my atmosphere
When I'm sitting here that's when these raps appear
I've been a bit of a pitiful act but now I'm back in here
I rap 'mares then I take a little nap to gear up and get back in fear

Year up year down, I've been half-assed and clowning
Lounging around making more trouble than my townsmen
Thinking about that youthful fountain, about climbing mountains
About astounding and living till the ground ends

I think it over, and over again
Until it's over and I'm sober on life
And know that while it may sound nice I'm not like Danny Glover
Not tough like a boulder I'm like a soldier

Soldering smoldering hot knots in my molding pot!
Melting pot's what it once was now it's old and forGOT
What do I forgo to make myself more slow, more so remorseful
With more doubt and woe than all you whores now

Been reading courses feeling like I'm tapping Morse code
Like I'm in a corset, closing all my doors yet
I never forget my dream I just shove it away
Live life, maybe some other of days, I shutter my face

Sink in the shitter of shame, sit in the shit in disdain
Scared shitless of living a little I pity my name, bit with a game
But I don't want to pave a way to fame, do I dude, do I wane?
Will I grow old grow be baned with a crane? Be just... a name in a frame?

A frame of my former me, deformed and weak, implored by sleep
A frame of my former I, scorned by life, with a boring mind
When I used to be fortified, will I grow till I croak on a floor and die?
Will I live in a lie and be dormant or will I rise high with a roar and fly!

I see the mountain, do I want to reach it?
Will I loose my inspiration one day - will I be speechless?
Will I learn from the lessons this life teaches? Am I weak or is that just a feeling?
Cartwheeling through life - to find some meaning before I be dead!

I don't have street cred, I'm a defect it aint no secret
Peep into my life you see it, I write it weekly
I reject wee steps, get stuck in regrets regressing like
I never learn the lessons I get

On the Internet they know me as the Cyberdevil
I put metal to metal never let dust settle
I better let up and bet all and bawl and brawl
Crawl through you all as if my WILL is a stiletto

Let's all be honest, I will glow - I promise
I'll shine like a motherfucking sun so dope and dominant
I'm on it now like an ornament, in third person: on he went
He took the world and bonded with it and now he's omniscient

Like a King like a God, like a... Devil! Psyche
Cyberdevil is on the Mic right? Then he's gone again.

I like the flow switchups in this and the pronunciation and presence. It's like an experiment of sorts, but with good structure. It becomes a bit Tech N9ne at times as well.

Cyberdevil responds:

Concise feedback and complementing compliments, thanks man! :)
