Had this crazy inspiration after watching Interstellar and Big Hero 6. Then I had a dream about flying into space and the theme of this song playing. I launched myself off the bed and start the PC to work on this at like 4:00 AM.

This is something I haven't successfully done previously in my older work. First, it was synth-based. What's better from a synth epic song? I got this idea kind of from Michal Cielecki and Troels Folmann. Also, I just did a shopping frenzy on VST and sample libraries. My fingers were so itching to use them. Finally I always urged to use this wonderful chord progression.

It's very choppy as I know. My poor PC couldn't handle the sheer awesomeness of this piece! Plus my skill is rusty...

Aren't dream melodies the best melodies though? ^^

Dream melodies are the best. Too bad 99% of the time I couldn't remember them. I just knew that I had some awesome melodies in the dream. :(

Reminds me of Farcry 3 i don't know why .

Agitat0r responds:

Far Cry 3? Ah the strange soundtrack from Brian Tyler. I don't see any similarity at all. Well. Thank you for the review.

Nice composition, I like the togetherness of it all. Everything really sounds like it belongs and is meant to be composed this way. great job! you have a lot of movement for just 2,5 minutes in there which i also really liked. would have been awesome if you elongated this piece. with all those orchestral sounds and so on you could easily write a half hour track imho and i would probably listen to all of it ;).

It's not a full on 5 star rating because some things are not perfect. Your mixing could be a little clearer especially in the mid range where i think everything clutters a little but it's nothing major. then the chants or vocal chops you have in there would benefit in my opinion if you fade them out a little longer so they have more sustain. but thats all kind of nitpicking.

so yeah overall really nice track. you got yourself a new fan! 4.5/5
