Great

It has an incredible epic feel. An amzing piece of art, as always.

MaestroRage responds:

It seems every time I write a story, it ends up with an epic side. I just can't seem to help myself, all the epic stories are the good ones :D!

Of course, this reflects on pretty much any song I make. Thank you for the review, glad you liked it!

Genius. Pure Genius.

This is the sort of thing I want to hear. Amazing. Simply awe-inspiring.

The piece was just filled with one melody after another - as though it never ends. Each has a changing mood, some sullen, others gleeful. Simply incredible.

I would like to note that you might've had some counter-melodies in there - it seemed nearly... repetitive with only melodies. However, repetitive's fine by me if it sounds this good!

Like usual, this is a great job. It sounded anything from Irish to a full fledged Classical orchestra - the changing pace just keeps you on the edge of your seat... smiling. Why? I may never know. But it gave it enough charm for me to rate high.

Great work!

MaestroRage responds:

It does change a good deal huh? Repetitive with melodies? Heh, i'll be honest, i've never gotten that before, and i'm quite intrigued at the idea. A song repetitive of melodies... it sounds like a simple situation, yet the more I think on it, the more complex I make it out.

I suppose it's just me, I tend to overthink things.

Anyways. i'm glad you enjoyed it, this was supposed to have more Celtic flavour in it, but I just don't have the power to pull it off right yet.

Thank you for the review and support ^^.

CLear Clean Sound

i know i may sound like an HD radio commercial but this was definetly one of the highlights of my listenings. The themes were well supported by the violin backgrounds which moved little but kept the beat rythym time etc right.

For improvement:
Try and make the song longer, this was a good song with a good theme and good concepts, but if you were to extend it and move the song along at different speeds, it would have been a masterpiece.

I didn't love the bells, cause to me it ruined the theme of the song. It was mysterious, almost like music for like a lone rider or elf person thing looking over a large open plain. Or in that one scene from Lord of the Rings, where they are all running through a mountain area, and the camera does a slow loop around.

Dire NEed of:
while the instrumentation was definetly overwhelming and clear, i would maybe use something more than strings, clarinet, oboe (I think) and flute. Try maybe some light brass and trombone, for a suspense tense affect.

MaestroRage responds:

Hmm, I can see where you are coming from, this song in particular really wasn't aiming for any suspenseful themes. The image I had for this was standing on a cliff, overlooking a great sparkling lake, the gentle wind rustling the tree's, as the sun sets gently. Cliche? Maybe, but the image spoke to me, and so I had to make this.

However the points you bring up are quite interesting ones. I will definately have to one day sit down and try them out, who knows, it may unlock another vision for me.

Thank you for the review, i'm glad you enjoyed the piece ^^.

Nice :).

I'm not a fan of Classical music.. at all, so I'm not gonna review based on my opinions.

---

You've used some pretty good sounds to put this together, I don't usually like slow music, but it's classical and you seemed to make it worth listening to anyway.

Good job, keep it up :).

MaestroRage responds:

I'm glad you were able to enjoy it. I fully understand, it may not be your cup of tea, and i'd like to thank you for your honesty on the matter.

Thanks for the review ^^.
