This is an arrangement of Miki Hiroyuki (LENK64)'s Emotional Change in Form ~ Serial Killer, a composition for her ongoing Nansei series; all compositional credit goes to her.

This is my first completed arrange. Everything seems to be in order in terms of composition, excluding the ending, which is awkward and abrupt.

Its melody attracted me considerably, so I arranged it. I tried to add more sense of conflict by inserting more contrast between low tension and high tension . Also, although I particularly appreciate the composition's prevalent motifs, I gave them more variation to assuage a sense of monotony, in addition to adding my own derivations from them.

This soundtrack is amazing... Completely stunning. This seems like it would be a video game theme song or along those lines. The music you put out is just amazing. I love it. The song sounds dark and foreboding, yet energetic at the same time, and it blends perfectly. The end has a suspense...then disapates... Quite astonishing... I absolutely adore the style of your music. Keep up the good work!

Compared to the original, this version seems more... Serial Killery? XD
But yeah, it seems just more sad than the original. Which I love. You've pretty much captured the essence of what any Touhou song is about, fan made or not. It's the emotions that describe who these characters are and what they're capable of. For that, you have my respect, sir. Finely done. You've written a story that I would like to hear more of.

Pardon the late response.

I thank you for taking the time to write a comment, as I most certainly appreciate your thoughts. To be frank, I did not expect:

"It's the emotions that describe who these characters are and what they're capable of... finely done. "

I don't believe myself to have any sort of capacity for emotion. I have feelings, that is to me, the basic sensations which arrive from some stimulus, but nothing I could claim as indicators for concepts such as joy, anger, and, in this case, sadness. When I make music, intuition and logic are my ways of knowing. To hear, then, that I could convey emotions without having any (recognized) personal acquaintance with it is a curious idea, to say the least.

As for the story, I do plan to make my own music/illustration project for my own intellectual purposes. I'll certainly look at this piece again to unravel the creative processes that I was not aware of during this arrangement's creation, since I also would like to know my story.

Again, you have my gratitude. I am unable to express the extent to which this comment has mentally excited me.

Peace.
