I am still trying to figure out how to finish this. If you have any ideas tell me.

"Ending suggestion"

by: avaz21
date: December 16, 2007

Here's an idea I had when I was listening to it. At the end now, right after that cymbal, you continue for 4 bars with that same "tinkling" sound (sorry, I don't know the proper name for it - it wasn't the strings and it wasn't the snare, it sounded more like tiny bells) that you had at the end, then come back with the snare rhythm from 0:55 and for more effect have it loop twice. And boom, you've got yourself an ending.

At the very least, it's a continuation that you can use as a springboard if you wanted to extend the length, like if my idea was inspiring or something - just a thought. :)

Hope that helps! Once (if) this track gets done, I'd love to use it as background accompaniment to my demo reel. :D

"I love the snare drum"

date: September 2, 2006

I love the snare drum in this song. Is it a real recording, or is it synthesized?

Author's Response:

I used Reason to make this. Glad you can't tell :)

sounds like you're using soundfonts - you ned to get better sounds man - or filter what you've got better :P sounds too midi-ish as it is now..

sounds kewl tho - mastering is acceptable.. no peaking or things out of place so to speak.. I'll review some of your other stuff ^^ (nice strings tho)
