You guessed it! Another composition I've made quite a long time ago...
I didn't get to go home this weekend, which is a shame. I decided to upload this piece, although the recording is pretty bad. I tried to get rid of the worst stuff, but the piano sample sucks, and the recording quality does too. Other than that, it seems I also failed a bit with both tempo and hitting all the notes correctly while recording this piece. I don't really care though, as this was recorded over a year and a half ago XD

I mostly added reverb, which fixed some issues. As you may notice, I tried having some fun with delay at one part too. It's not entirely in sync, but I didn't have time to do it better :p

The reasoning behind the name has nothing to do with the fact that I'm mostly uploading old stuff, as the name is actually as old as the piece is. Those of you who've listened to my stuff for quite a while now will probably notice that this sounds very much alike some of my other pieces; there's nothing new to find here XD

Anyhow, enough rambling. Enjoy ;)

Whoa, this was quite the zerobombing subject, huh?
I despise seeing that kind of score on such a beautiful song.

Great composition. It kinda got me drifting away and picturing scenery from the Halo franchise. It's not necessarily a match in tone, but my mind felt the need to wander off towards dramatic and inspiring imagery.

Towards the later half my mind stopped picturing scenery and went to something more humanly palpable, like a protagonist's struggle.

The production is great. The size of the acoustics is just perfect.

5/5 - Most sincerely, extremely extremely beautiful.

Hahha, some of my pieces get zerobombed from time to time, but it's nothing to worry about :p
I'm pretty sure it's the audio quality that caused it, along with the fact that this could sound much better. I really should've recorded this piece again with better sound (my skills at playing have developed a lot since this was recorded too), but alas, I've long forgotten how to play this piece XD
Oh well; I kinda like it this way :3

I'm glad you like the composition, as that is the most important part to me :)
It's always good to imagine things while listening to music, isn't it? :D

I get how you pictured a protagonist's struggle towards the end, as the tension is increased a lot :)

I didn't expect anyone to like the production much though! I tried my best to improve it from the raw version, so I'm happy I seem to have succeeded to some extent :')

Thanks a great deal for all the kind words and for the review!
I certainly owe you some good reviews too. I'll make sure to let them come soon ;)

Thanks! Yeah, I couldn't really do that much to fix this one, but I figured it was good enough to upload :p

ur so creative w ur titles, mang

Sounds nice, as usual. That high-pitched interlude in the middle is really nice (although there are some harsh notes); I'd love to see you incorporate that in your future works!

Notes cracking, a bit of tempo off, blah blah blah.

That ending came out of nowhere! That thing your left hand did at 1:47 was awesome. What was that?!

I'm sort of only reviewing these to keep up my record, to be honest. :P Good work! Why didn't you go home for the weekend? :(

Quick with your reviewing again ey? You're really awesome for keeping up with your record even if these are just old weird tracks XD (same goes for TheDoor6!)

My titles are the most creative ones you'll ever find in this world. I usually spend days upon days thinking about what I should name a piece, whereafter I find the perfect title within the depths of my very soul.

That interlude is definitely too high-pitched for this piano sound (although the reverb and delay improved it some), but I liked the idea, and have used similar stuff before and will do so again XD

The ending? It's left hand exercise :) I actually failed with hitting every note there too, but the reverb makes this track so muddy that it might be hard to notice :p I have no idea what I would call what I did though. It's those same rolling notes as usually, except I doubled the amount and the speed >:D
I think I could pull it off much better now, more than one year in the future, but I guess I did okay :3

I didn't get to go home, because the army sucks >:(
Every fifth weekend or so (sometimes more often), you have to stay here, because meh. We don't have much free time the weekends we go home either, but it's something :/ (Soon halfway there!)
