This is an old project I've been meaning to put up for a while that's been sitting on my for the longest time. It's a little messy but a good listen nonetheless.

Ironically featuring no instruments from asia except the tam-tam (which is arguable in itself).

Fretless Zither (American)
C Fife (American)
Gusle (Slavic/Balkan)
Bass Recorder (European, Renaissance)

Birds and thunderstorm my own recording.

There's a lot of overlap in the sounds of folk instruments. I enjoy trying to recreate the sounds of different cultures using the "wrong" instruments. :D

This track is pretty random and wandering- but I think it works well like that, especially with the atmospheric sounds (birds and thunder). I would love to here something like this played live somewhere out in a forest-y area as a background music to whatever event was going on. (Similar to how they play bluegrass music at Dollywood and Silver Dollar City.)

I would definitely be up to playing stuff like this live... if I had anyone to play the other instruments! :D

Thanks for the review man. :)
