Another piece I made for the sci-fi trading card game Star Admiral - and another one for the queue screen (that you see while you're waiting for the match making system to select an opponent). Like my previous upload this one didn't make it into the game.

This one is quite traditional epic orchestral stuff (after the minimalistic electronic intro, that is). I just tried to generally capture the mood before an epic battle and increasing the tension as you wait longer for the session to begin. I don't know what I was exactly inspired by, I was kinda thinking of Jeremy Soule's music but can't think of a single piece that is really like this one.To be honest it's one of those pieces where I just pray that I didn't accidentally copy someone else's work.

Either way, I'm rather happy with how it turned out.

What I imagine when listening to this is a large army preparing to march onwards. This does sound great and epic, as Daalgue said; Nice work!

Thank you very much! That's pretty much the kind of scene and mood I wanted to illustrate with this piece. :)
