This hits me in the back of my mind somewhere, very beautiful..a cross between something fate/stay nighty / Saber and an RPG i once played somewhere..maybe even King arthurish. So, cool. I've always enjoyed piano music but have a subtle weakness for violins and the like. When you mix those styles together with that strong emotion around :30 the Piece really breaksthrough for me.

To date, this is my absolute favorite piece out of any NGADM.
The piano starts off solitary, which captures and holds my attention. It’s very natural-sounding, organic, and emotional. There’s even a theme that you follow consistently and this is where you demonstrate your amazing musical prowess – the strings come in and blow me away. As analogy: We’re on the ground first, walking slowly, and these strings gently lift us and soar. I truly see a Miyazaki-type animation when I hear this, as you have a knack for painting colorful and fantastical landscapes with your sounds.
You never seem to stick in one place, either, but that’s an amazing thing here; you continue to rein in different chords, and weave this tapestry of introspection, love, hesitance, and gratification. The piano is ever-changing and the strings move right along with it, sort of like the extending fins of a fish swimming gracefully (lots of analogies, so sorry).
The production value is amazing. It sounds like you were playing all of this yourself at one point in a symphony hall, or at least were the conductor of several people. The piano is bright, but not overbearing. The strings are warm, but not shrill. You command everything effortlessly and I would not add or take away a single thing.
I think the only thing that bothered me was the ending, which is why I took off a little – I would have loved to hear more, and it seemed like you might have cut it short due to time constraints. It was a rather short piece, but even then, it was beautiful, evocative, and poignant. There’s an air of mystery that surrounds this song, as well – if you have time, I would love to hear your motivation/inspiration for this piece, as one could place it anywhere in a film and instantly make the scene meaningful. Before I start the review, I have to say that I believe this is the best original piece I've heard from you thus far. In the past you had serious transitional issues, disruptive flows, occasionally empty sections, etc... and while I can't say that these issues have all disappeared now, they have diminished greatly. More on that later though. First up, like always your composition and harmonies are amazing. You've got some absolutely stunning melodies, embellished by a command over harmony like no other. The best thing about this track has to be how you accentuated the melody at the beginning played by only the piano with the strings half a minute later. I'm of the belief that this is how all piano/string pieces of this genre should be - complex, expressive and melodic.

The track also flows beautifully and smoothly, one thing which I'm always looking out for in your music, with the exception of 1:05's transition which felt a bit like you were awkwardly gluing two different ideas together. Otherwise, the flow is smooth and every section leads naturally to the next. The only one thing I'm saddened about is your ending. I mean, sure, this is a pretty short track, but I actually don't feel like it lacks content like a lot of tracks of this length lack. I just feel like the ending sounds premature and abrupt. A more suitable approach to it would have been more effective, perhaps reintroducing the introduction's melody once more up till it finishes at 0:28 and ending it there.

Whatever the case, you've created an extremely expressive, emotional and beautifully-composed piece which you should be proud of!

It ages well. When I heard it for the first time I was indifferent. Came back to it again like hours later, still indifferent. Came back to it again with a time gap, still a bit indifferent. Then this is like the 5th(+) separate visit and I just hit Favorites. Yes, I enjoy it. You won. Good fight SilverPoyozo. Good fight.
