There it is ! My first upload !

Well, here's a preview of a cover I've been working on for awhile now -most likely because of health issues- but I'm fine now, so I managed to record this little thing here...

SO ! This is based of "No One Lives Forever", the menu theme of No More Room in Hell originaly created by ThoughtMusic, you can get the original piece and all tons of stuff (Midis, remix stems, all in one zip file !) on his soundcloud right here : https://soundcloud.com/thoughtmusic/thought-nmrih-menu-theme/

For those who doesn't know No More Room in Hell (aka NMRiH), it's an indie survival game based on the Source Engine (Counter Strike : Source, Half Life 2, Team Fortress 2, ...) you can get the game on Steam right there : http://store.steampowered.com/app/224260/

Now for placing my own words in : I am still working on it, as I said before, it's just a preview; the recording circumstances were far from perfect and the sound thingy of my computer is almost dead, adding alot of interferences, that's about the best I could get, as soon as I get another computer with a better sound card, I'll record things ASAP ! (I'm working on other projects of its own, even vocals !)

Never played the game, but that's a cool melody! Nice to see you've got some stuff up now!
What kind of recording conditions are you talking about?

blanchon responds:

I'm pretty proud of myself going through my laziness and recorded stuff ! Thanks for the comment, man !

For the conditions ; well, first thing is my computer's vent system is making a shitton of noise. Second is the fact that I don't have a perfect place nor time to record so I have to do it in my living room, where we can hear pretty much anything happening in the house ...

Finally the PC I had for the recording is pure garbage, Even if my mic does not record any sound, there will still be some "noise" (you can hear it a little in the recording right there).

But with all of these flaws, I still managed to upload something ... I'd say half decent ^^'
