Hey Newgrounders,

I have been going through some of my previous songs with the intention of improving their overall sound quality. Please leave a review to tell me what you think! If you've heard the original, let me know if you approve or disapprove of the new version!

Thanks for listening!

Great stuff as usual.

Listened to this first, then went to the original.

I have to say that I feel more attached to the original version. It is true that this version is cleaner with its instruments. However I feel that the muddier reverb present in the original version actually enhances the eternal feeling so implied by the title. The original version had very prominent swells and increased dynamic range which added to the emptiness of the whole song.

I think you've made a tradeoff between clarity and sentimental value. lol.
Still, I really enjoyed both version and encourage you to continue ambient.

Thanks for the review! I respect your standpoint and I agree with you. I find it difficult to alter my own songs with the intention of creating a new version, simply because they lose that initial connection once alterations have been made to the instruments, melodies, etc. Random decreases in motivation (to create a new song) and boredom are the parents of these creations haha. I really appreciate the fact that you checked out both versions and left an in-depth review. Thanks!
