Here it is! The full version of the Tokyo Ghoul OP ^_^
I did some fixes with Miku's settings to make her more clear and less breathy. I also changed the NI Massive synth for the drop, I think I like it better than before :)
I hope you guys like what I did for the rest of the song! Though I'm still unsure if these are the right lyrics haha
The op for this anime is my 2nd favorite after Kuchizuke Diamond and honestly this version just destroys the first version u made..... I love Unravel so much i know the song by memory!!!
DAMN, SON. Perfect mix, amazing composition, there's pretty much nothing I'd change about this. I'd rate more than 5 if I could.
This song gave me SHIVERS at how FREAKING EPIC this is! Playing this in my car stereo at max volume with that dubstep is an eargasm. Just seriously dude this goes without saying, but i LOVE you for making this song. This is by far my 2nd favorite song that has ever touched my ears. Though this is a VERY close second! For the love of god never stop making music XO
(p.s. i like this version a LOT better than the original song in the opening)
The voice is a massive improvement over the original, make no mistake I understand the principles in it's brooding overtone I just find the raspy barely coherent highs and lows of the artist's voice contrasting incorrectly with the melody and clashing awkwardly with their instrumentation. You've elegantly rectified the problem, something I noticed in your demo and am glad you pulled a clean and crisp variation those who speak the language can better enjoy.
Your drops and high end are very well thought out and the execution is pretty imaginative while sticking to the original's roots, it's a splendid remix no matter where your ear sticks on the bar. That being said, my only point of criticism is your choice to distort the voice toward the end. Nothing meant personally, I find heavy distortion of a voice- synthesized or otherwise- tacky regardless of a song's style, and it starts to drag at the end from the melodic repetition and mirroring.
Still a solid 5/5, all of the hard work and tweaking from the demo paid off and has earned it's place on my playlist of NG's greatest.
How can there be such a low rating for a remix as masterful as this?
Great pace and some amazing sounds. Most NG users displaying their bigotry, sure 'nuff.
Also breathtaking drop!
