Mmmm

This reminds me of when I used to live at the beach... Seagulls in the air waves coming up, sand burning your skin while sands getting into your sandals and crack. Waves slamming me to the ground, getting salt water up my nose and getting big gulps of it forced down my throat. Getting seaweed tangled around my leg. OMFG IS THAT A SHARK!!! Oh just a some fat guy. Making my way pack to the parking lot stepping on cigarettes and having sand attach to every wet spot on my body. Getting in the car and having sand paper in between my legs. Beautiful.

This is so peaceful and relaxing.

I saw this on the top 50 page on the audio portal. When I clicked I noticed it was 7 years old and I just had to listen. Good thing I did, because I am loving this song. It's such a relaxing song and I feel like I could listen to it for a long while. I think the sea-shore elements really add to it as well. The music is really simple and reminds me of RPG music when you visit a small nice little town. I've never played Chrono Cross but I heard it's one of the best RPGs ever. I love this song. That's all there is to it. I'm glad that even songs 7 years old can still be considered one of the best songs on NG even with some of the amazing music released today. Great job dude.

yeah this was used on a small beach in the game from a small little seaside vilalge.. I find it's a really deep song and I love it - even if it's extremely simplistic.. I remember I was big on seagulls back then too hehe :P

thanks for the review - glad my music entertains people almost a decade later :)

uh oh. happy is not ftw.

well, i feel this deserved a review. i dont know why i am writing a review, but from now on, im going to have to review all happy songs with non 10 reviews. DONT FEEL OFFENDED. u arent the only one.
happiness. cant i live without some? this song is too calming in sections, probably why others like it. but the melody seems quite simple, the background is simple; i feel it is quite good in unity and simplicity, which are two things i like to look out for when i try to find good songs.
u chose ur effects well. i see. sounds like someone needs to fall into heaven and just live without problems. im guessing thats what the song is trying to aim at. plz excuse me if im wrong.

so if u are wishing i could give a better review, well, im sorry. darker and more energetic songs with intense atmosphere is what i need. probably not what u are familiar with, but oh well, never mind. but it was a good song for other people, im sure they would've liked it. just not me though.

Chronamut responds:

that's fine - I tend to lean more towards the heavenly.. and for a song I made 7 years ago, I still love this song :)

can't believe this made top 30 though..

thanks for the review!

Back to what i had started.

Well lets see. Well there isn't any peaking, nor it there anything really so obviously bad that makes me want to score this lower. I kind of like how the choir pad stays fairly consistent as far as limited changed. There is even a few nice little dissonant chords here and there. Over all not to bad, just maybe a bit too simple =P

Chronamut responds:

yes prolly too simple hehehe..

thanks for the review!

Yet another great CC song from you, and again it sounds like it could be in the original.
btw the seagulls were a nice touch lol.

Chronamut responds:

Yes I was big on the seagulls then hehehe :P
