My inspiration for this song was Cloud City by DuttonsaysHi. http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/554093

I love that song a lot and wanted to make something similar, however, my song sounds completely different, lol.

I am very happy with the mixing this time because it's been a long time since one of my songs sounded this clear.

Thankyou for listening!

I like the mood and atmosphere a lot! That riser that sounds like whistling is really cool. What plug-in did you use to make it? The instruments were good, too. I especially like the one at :58. I think you did a much better job in general in this piece of creating dynamic contrast, as compared to your last track. Interesting how you take away the kick when that melody comes in at 1:51. I was also impressed with the mixing. I think listening closely to your tracks has taught me a lot about mixing, so thank you! ;) I liked the modulations at 3:26, but I think you could've done more to make an even bigger climax there. Also, perhaps you should've varied the melody a bit more/added more harmonies. Still, this is a good piece. Keep up the great work, BO! ;D

I used sylenth, but you can do the same effect in other plug ins. You just need automation clips for the pitch and cut off filter.

I'm glad you learned about mixing from my songs, but please remember that I have a lot to learn as well.

"I liked the modulations at 3:26, but I think you could've done more to make an even bigger climax there. "
Unfortunately, the project was already beginning to load everything slowly, which was a sign that I should stop adding instruments and automation clips. I could have used the instruments I already had to make a better climax, but I was too lazy and I would have been very limited. I really need to work on my patience.

"Also, perhaps you should've varied the melody a bit more/added more harmonies."
I agree that I should have added harmonies, I actually did not think of it at the time :(
I think the melody itself has enough variation currently, so I wouldn't have changed it.

Thankyou for the review! Even though we disagree on some things, I really appreciate your well thought out reviews since the past year :D

Hi! This is great! :D

I don't think I've seen anything inspired from my work, so it's really cool to hear this ^^.

I can totally see what you where going for with the whole theme of sky cities, flying high and such. It has a very uplifting feel to it which fits the theme perfectly.

It makes me think of that really chill music you'd hear in the main towns of some MMO's like maple story or ragnorok online. Which is something I've wanted to do recently and I might just down now thanks to this! So I guess your inspired song inspired me xD.

Well done man, keep it up!
