Melodies are ok
But in response to your response, their definetly is way to alter FL presets so they sound different than their original.... Throw FX on them screw with the wave length, turn them into arppeggiators and then screw with the timing...
another piece of advice is stay away from the plucked instrument.
The bass is nice and the melodies are well thought out, I can tell that you actually do have talent and potential to make solid, kick ass trance music, just add some variation in your music! Drums would be nice too.

Excuse me
There seems to be something missing herre. I can't put my finger on it... Oh wait. DRUMS! I wonder where you hid them. Beacuse you see, i don't consider any song to belong the genre of trance if there is drums mising. Homework for you.
And there isn't much you did here anyway. The song sounds okay, but i can tell that you haven't shed any sweat whilst making this song. It basicly consists of 4 different tunes, all playing the same melody throughout the song.
Try harder. Experiment. Be bold when choosing your tunes. And most of all, good luck!

I tried adding drums, just whatever I did fit in too oddly or didn't fit at all, maybe I just don't have any good drum samples, but maybe I'll try again later.

There isn't much to say except that you used pre-built gens and I wouldnt consider it a trance at all.
Well, as for pre-built gens, I've found no way to alter FL gens to an extent that it makes much difference. As for it being trance, no, it's not, I can't say what it is, but trance is the only kind of music that people really look at in the audio portal, so if I want people to listen to it, that's where I ought to put it. I don't really mind pre-built gen music, it's the music itself that matters.
