A friend of mine recently bought me Tomb Raider on steam and I loved the game's atmosphere so much it gave me inspiration to compose a new song!
Just imagine yourself exploring dark ancient tombs/temples to this :)
This track will be on my new Cinematic album I'm currently working on.
I used Cubase 7 as DAW and used the following Libraries:
- EWQL Symphonic Orchestra, Goliath, Storm Drum 2, Silk, Ra
- Forest Kingdom 2, Shevannai
- Heavyocity AEON Melodic and Damage.

This song is such a tease cuz you're building it up at like 1:40 and then 10s later ur all like "NOPE".
The song is just well-crafted and has equally-distributed energy throughout.
Kids dream to be at this level.

Not gonna I nearly crapped myself at the beginning lol the percussion you put into this are wonderful and the strings help compliment them a lot great job!

Great work - the sound effects worked very well. It was wise to choose the silk instrument for this. Also the choir and shevannai worked well. The only weakpoint in my opinion is that there are no key changes - which would boost this piece to an even higher level. But thats - maybe - just my personal fondness :D
Great athmospheric, creative and well developed track. Keep it up!

Thank you SoundChris! You're right I probably should have done a few key changes, I think I was focusing too much on the ambience.
Very nice, it sounds like it should be in some sort of 300 movie. I love it!
