Just finished remastering this one and would like to hear what you think. It´s the perfect music for a ghost train ride on a haunted fairground ;)

I love the creepy mood and instruments. The reverb on the brass really adds the ultimate spooky touch! It's like a circus gone wrong. I love pieces that put images in your head, and this one did that for me. The bones at 1:05 were a nice touch, btw. It's a piece with some real character, Azhthar. Excellent work! The structure was good, although I think you could've led into some of the transitory moments better. For example, I think 1:45 comes on a little suddenly. You could crescendo into it, or maybe add a pick-up note with the horn again or something. Also, the variations at 2:14 were good, especially with that ride (no pun intended). 2:27 added an excellent touch to the character of the piece...like it's the carnival, completely abandoned, 50 years later. It also made this very conclusive. The ending was simply fantastic. Overall, I love the melodic and harmonic content, and it's clearly a very creative and fun piece. I just have so few complaints...you, sir, are an EXTREMELY UNDERRATED ARTIST! Bravo and encore! :D

Really evoked that carnival atmosphere, excellent introduction and that middle choir section is really quite good, and the ending too. A *tiny* bit of flab could've been trimmed, but this is a really good piece otherwise.

I would've been nice if you had some stronger samples to really bring this to life, but it feels unfair to penalise tracks for that. I much prefer a strong composition with weak samples to the opposite. Good job.

Haha can't help but have a smile when this song really starts, I love carnival music. I really like the choir development around half way in the song, and when the instruments come flying in again. This is awesome! kudos! I really enjoyed the quiet parts at the beginning and end of song, the instrument selection and composition is terrific.

Excellent composition. This definitely creepy sideshow/fairground music. Nicely done.

Like Biokiller8 said, excellent song. But yea, you for sure need better plugins. The idea is there though.

Azhthar responds:

Thx for the nice reviews here! I already talked to Biokiller8 for some suggestions about the plugins. Actually I thoght the sounds were quite ok. For the organ it´s sonokinetic carousel and I actually don´t know a better barrel organ plugin. If you mean the percussion: It´s also from carousel. I tried different better sounding percussion but then I was missing the fairground character... Any suggestions?
