Hey dudes and dudettes;
This is a Less Than Jake cover
This may come across totally different but I'm sharing it just because.
It's not metal and my otherwise wimpy vocals are on it.

This is a work in progress.
No I don't plan to do a ton of ska this year.
Yes I've obviously lent myself as a backup singer for most of my life, and not a lead singer!

Essentially, I loved this song growing up.
It was a sad song that can just make you happy.

~~~~
I've come to my senses,
That I've become senseless,
I could give you lessons on how to ruin your friendships,
Every last conviction, I smoked them all away,
I drank my frustrations down the drain, out of the way,
So I sit and wait and wonder,
"Does anyone else feel like me?"
Someone so tired of their routines and disappearing self-esteems,
[Chorus:]
I'll sing along,
Yeah with every emergency,
Just sing along,
I'm the king of catastrophies,
I'm so far gone,
That deep down inside I think it's fine by me,
I'm my own worst enemy
I could be an expert on co-dependency,
I could write the best book on underage tragedy,
I've been spending my time at the local liquor store,
I've been sleeping nightly on my best friends kitchen floor,
So I sit and wait and wonder,
"Does anyone else feel like me?"
I'm so over-dosed on apathy and burnt out on sympathy.
[Chorus]
Let the meaning slip away
Lost my faith in another day,
Self deprication seems okay,
I never thought I'd make it anyway
[Chorus]
I'm my own worst enemy [x5]
This sounds great! Reminds me of my childhood of playing Tony Hawk Games on my N64. Really makes me feel nostalgic. Great job.
I've reviewed a couple of your songs and in one of the reviews I said that I love coming back to your page randomly and finding awesomeness. This statement still stands strong with this song.
I used to listen to this song when it was popular-ish and I actually like your version of this song a lot more than the original.
Your vocals aren't wimpy at all. Just keep right on doing what you're doing and play your own style. Just work on staying in tune more and you could really make it as a lead vocalist. 95% of the song you were in tune. It only seems to me that you should work on your lows if you intend on making more covers. I hope you do because, this was awesome.
Overall I find your cover refreshing. It honestly has that "good vibe" feeling more-so than the original due to your voice. Great work man. Amazing cover work.
Keep on rocking and I'll keep on loving it!
