Oh shit, you both went nuts.

Eq - Last year's default is okay, "Based around what mine is" is decent, rhyming 'eleven' and 'heaven' is a little played out though. Ben Stein comparison is nice. Pretty strong verse.

Jakobe - Voice diss is great, Eye-Cue reference is very heavy. Equinox diss is another good one. Prison bars thing is pretty generic.

Eq - Rolled my eyes at stanza/Danza/Atlanta, equinox and boring flips are good. Shit on finisher is kind of silly.

Jakobe - Re-flipping equinox is okay but lacks finesse. Don't have a job is good. Doubletime is nice but a lot of the disses just don't hit.

First time I thought Eq had this easy, the more I listen to it the more close I realize it is. The first verses from both were the strongest lyrically, while Jakobe's flow was a little off for his first verse but much stronger during his second. Eq had longer multis, Jakobe rode his schemes longer. I'd give this to Eq by a nose for a stronger second verse and more consistent flow.

I gotta say, J has got to hit harder. I'm used to hearing J whoop anyone who challenges him. I guess he's getting bad, or people are just taking notes for a change. Good work Eq.
