I don't mean to be mean, but this isn't the best house track out there.

Your intro was kind of random. The song started to make sense around the 2 minute mark. You got some really cool ideas here - you just have to execute them properly. I don't even think there is an actual 'climax' in this track.

The coolest part of your track was at 3:30. I just wish the whole track was built up around that section so that it would make me want to dance all the way through.

I highly recommend listening to a lot of house dj mixes and such, to give you an idea of the flow of House music works.

Please don't take this review too personally, I'm fairly critical on my reviews if I feel it is necessary. I hope you learn a thing or two and I am eager to hear your improvement on your next upcoming projects!

to have the "best house track out there" isn't something i'm concerned about.

from a listeners perspective, i get that the intro was really random and too long. obviously the randomness was done on purpose. i wanted to do something different rather than go with a simple melodic note/chord progression. i'm not sure anyone really has a say in how a musician or artist should execute their ideas. i get where you're coming from, but there is reasoning behind the way this was put together. i hardly ever put "climaxes" in my music, only because i refuse to believe that you can get people interested in a song with builds and drops. i may have tagged my song wrong when i put edm, i don't expect people to be able to dance to my music. i make music to listen to and occasionally i'll make something that has the potential to be a dance track.

of course, i listen to many house artists and i try to incorporate some different types of house styles in my music while trying to add something of my own. but then again, i've only been making music for 3 months and haven't really discovered my own style, though, i feel i'm getting close. i have yet to figure out what genre my music really falls under. it's housey yet trancey and sometimes there are techno elements in my music. i should start labeling my music "idk" or something. i just don't see the point in putting a label on my music like that.

i don't take any review personally to be honest. there are some, like yours, that are truly helpful, yet opinionated. even though most reviews are almost always biased to some degree. yours i can really see what you mean because most of what you said is true from a listeners perspective. i do appreciate your review and i will keep in mind the things you've said and try to twist them into my next piece somehow.

Hey bud! I thought I might as well return the favor! XD First of all, nice beat bro! Everything is crisp and smooth sounding. One thought I did have, the intro seemed a bit long. I know that's probably what you were going for here and honestly I didn't have that much of a problem with it, but I was just so excited for it to pick up. Also, when the drums first come in it seems like the synth instrument thing gets a bit quiet compared to what it was in the intro. Otherwise, I loved the tune man! Great music! Keep up the awesome work!
