Okay, just a really quick little thing I whipped up to get the idea out there, and it was decent enough to be able to publish, I think. Definitely needs some polishing up and more layers and more dynamic stuff and so forth, so.. yeah. If you think it needs anything, I'd be glad to hear whatever you think that would be.

This song is one word my friend, POWERFUL. I love songs that I can really feel ya know? like songs that really send goosebumps down your arms and a good shiver down your spine! I also love how your song flows too. It's like every part fits together with harmony. By the way what did you use to create this? I use Garage Band to make my songs (which you can check on my channel if you want). You definitely have a lot of potential here on Newgrounds and I wish you the best of luck!

lantaren responds:

FL Studio, using Harmor (additive synthesizer) in conjunction with Zeta+2 for the most part (wavetable synth like massive but not as popular) works great for everything, but you can achieve the same thing in garage band (if you're extremely dedicated.. haha)

Nothing at all bad to say about this song. I really enjoyed it. It had a consistent, catchy beat and amazing choice of synths to go with it. Dynamics, yeah I think you were right about that-- but it doesn't take a whole bunch of fancy dynamics to make a great track. If the consistent patterns are catchy and addictive enough, they will fare just fine. Such is the case with yours. I love the gated pads and whatnot. If you are considering doing more with this, I really can't wait to hear it. Nice work!

lantaren responds:

Haha, thanks. Also, Sidechained Pad, not gated :P same effect, pretty much, though. And yeah, trying to figure out what else to add to this.. haha, needs more complex stuff.. haha
