First guitar song I've ever made. :0 I'm not finished with this song yet, this is the preview. It's kind of random and doesn't flow well, but I thought I'd give you something to listen to whilst I am busy doing other things. Trying to work on music as often as I can. Will finish this when I have the inspiration and time to do so.

I was messing around with some guitar patches. I will be uploading a finished version of this song sometime, along with a piano version, orchestral version, etc. that I'm also working on, so stay tuned. :) Fire was my inspiration. I imagined relaxing in front of a beautiful fire that grew in brilliance... which eventually faded away and died, embers softly glowing.

Very peaceful. Can definitely visualize the fire here. Did you play it live on guitar? What did you use to record or what samples (if library)?

First playthrough my thought was 'odd pauses, but now im impressed that youre autodidact, though im too. I recognice your style as my own, its not much different and i like it. (i remember making a track years ago that sounds very similar, but its on console so the only way to get it on ng would be through cable wich i dont have anymore) Im going to favorite you if you dont mind. :)

Great start! When you say orchestral do you mean to replace the guitar? In my head I hear this working well with just a violin and a cello but keeping the guitar the headlining act.

By orchestral, I meant with spiccato or staccato violins, violas, cellos, and brass... things like that. BUT that sounds like a rather nice idea too. I might have to try that out. :) Thanks for the review, Bafana!
