Wrote this as an ambient soundscape to view the image listed above. Below are the main shifts in the song. Its slow paced, spacey and somewhat psychedelic in nature. You will most likely need headphones to hear the whole range.

00:00 : Setting the space mood
00:27 : Shuttle sending out communication
01:00 : short view of earth
01:20 : Base communications
02:05 : Cybenetic jelly fish talking
03:38 : The heart machine

Audio Inspired Music Review
A very ambient piece that sounds like a backing track to a game. The sounds are interesting, however held out for so long it does begin to bore the listener a bit. I think if you added little melodic parts in there, it would certainly have helped.
That said, I don't think there was enough contrast between the parts when compared to the original image.

This is certainly a nice track coming from a fellow new to the audio portal (welcome, btw!), but there is definitely room for some additional work. :)

I really like the sounds you use, but I as a listener want more going on- more little melody fragments, more background sounds, more little noises. Just because it's ambientish doesn't mean you can get away with just a pad and a lead. If you have time, check out the work of my friend skyewintrest, he does some really awesome stuff with ambient and electronic that is up this style.

I didn't really find the piece very catchy or super interesting. It would probably work great in a film or a game for that reason, but not so much as art music for a contest. I definitely think you could have expanded more into the soundscape and taken on some more interesting sounds. That being said, the song does feel very right for the picture. As I said, it'd be awesome as score.

The mix and actual sounds in the song were quite good sounding however, definitely a good start!

Keep compos(ed/ing)!

Wasn't really as powerful and interesting as it could have been. Feels like you rushed it alot.
Was still sorta ambient though and it might actually be good in a game or something.
Peter pretty much said everything I wanted to say about this.

I think that the fundamental problem with this piece is the lack of a solid atmosphere and depth. While it has a very basic structure with the intro setting a somewhat interesting sound despite being very stripped down, it also sounds as if you diluted the same few riffs for minutes and minutes, droning into an abyss of repetition that fails to deliver an engaging experience. It's not even about dissonance: it's lack of substance.

If you elaborated the track by adding more instruments, possibly rhythmic synths, textures and sounds that could have enhanced your storytelling, it might have been an interesting space ambiance. Repetition should be avoided if it can't sustain itself enough to be considered immersive, and it's a shame because I liked the "analog" feel of the track, but it sounds like an idea that needs further revision and polish.

Some of this I really like, and some of it I found unfitting.

I really like the way it started off, it certainly felt like space and had a lot of large ambience. I felt that the sound choice for the arp-synth at 0:30 was abit out of place. It was far too frontal taking away from the ambient sound you gave us. A low bass may have added a lot more, and maybe let the bass have a walk, and create a little theme for us. Something not so dominant. 2mins in though and it felt like we we're still wandering. Your long soundscapes were great, but overall i felt that the lead sounds were a bit out of place because they broke up the super -pad sound you had. You could have taken this and built on it bit by bit as sounds become familiar with us. More pads, more sounds then bring them together to create a melody.

I have to say I really like the warp bass you have at 4:00 It sounds like something out of Gravity or a Scifi Horror, however it just repeated over and over, and too much of a good thing made it seem a bit bland. Overall it's a good ambient piece but a bit of build up would really add to it and take away from the consistent level we hear throughout.

Keep it up, and keep going.
