I haven't uploaded any music in a while, and this track has gotten to a point I am happy enough with. I guess it still needs work but all I decided to do was save some of the melodies for future work.
With an alright but not too loud or hard lead and some nice effects and chimes, I guess this isn't an AWFUL upload.
Also, I'm doing a Q&A on profile.
[EDIT: THIS WAS A TIME FILLER FOR UNTIL http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/566964 CAME OUT]
EDIT2: WOW, SECOND TOP, FEATURED FRONT PAGE! I DIDN'T EVEN ENJOY THIS SONG AT FIRST, BUT I'D LIKE TO THANK EVERYONE WHO RATED (even bad ratings, as long as you were still honest) AND ANYONE WHO HELPED.
Congratulations. Glad to see one of your songs getting featured FortressLord. Happy for you. :)
Featured? I gotta check this out!
For a fast upload I meant to fill a gap until We Move On came out, I didn't expect this.
And thanks a lot Seph, you were one of my first fans and you and your music helped me in many ways.
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Ah yes, I agree with all of that. The smug face has shown me the way, and I know the 5* review was justly given.
Thank you Zehnon, lord of smugface!
it would be better if those bells were something else, they are freaking me out,in the beginning, but it gets better like halfway, and then it's a little better, sheesh, those bells -_-
I suppose I'm glad the bells sound freaky. Maybe I should make two separate tracks, one for the cave-like ambiance and one for the DnB part.
Thanks for reviewing!
There is a massive gap in sound between the first and second parts. maybe a bit more subtle build would of worked well. it also feels it should be going somewhere but doesnt.
The intro is the best part and have a haunting melody to it, i would suggest keeping it for a larger track it can shine on.
I may bring the first part back, but this is old and much worse than my new style so no promises.
Exactly my thought. Aztec Trap was a failure to fill the gap until We Move On came out.
