Sounds very good

Hehe, at least this one does make me think of what the discription says. Would be a good backgroundsong for a scene in a flash that takes place in hell. Or in one of those Angels vs Devils flashes. Anyway, it sounded very good once again. Overall 9 out of 10.

MaestroSegments responds:

you should hear the final versio Auz, I am quite proud of it, that is once it wants to get off its ass and be finished. I've poured WAY too much time in that damn thing.

"While Heaven Burns"

Originality is a 7. Everything in this genre has been done, but I hear a subtle sub bass in the backround. Nice :)

Diversity is a 9. Amazing changes of the melody whilst the song still sticks together.

Clarity is a 9 because of the crashes(in the beginning). It seems like every orchaestral composer on newgrounds always gets those volumes wrong on the crashes...

Effort is a 10. Nuff said.

Overall, 8. A powerful orchaestral piece that sounds very muddled in the beginning, and clears up a little later. Pretty unoriginal, though :(

Good work, keep it up!

MaestroSegments responds:

Unoriginal you say eh? I strive to make every piece something new, I am quite surprised by that comment, but then again, i'm not going to sit here and say I know every song everywhere, it's entirely possible I've relied too heavily on small subtle things to give it an air of originality, or merely have made a song which I thought was original and was not.

Live and learn eh!?

Thanks for the review Zenon, i'll be sure to keep them coming.

its good..

...but its flat.. needs dynamics - you just need to pop it out more - did u use garritan for this? C'cuz if so you just need to filter more - a simple solution really.. but ya - kinda lifeless - insert more life lol :P

MaestroSegments responds:

this version is completely unmastered, yes I know I know, how could I? I'm such a horrible monster, etc, etc. I just recently learneded the wonderful world of equalizing, many thanks to _Arbiter_.

Thanks for the review though Chron, you've confirmed my thoughts on the piece.

Pretty good

I didn't like the beggining so much, but the parts where the tempo was very pronounced with the strings, and the part with the organ were very good. ^^

MaestroSegments responds:

I'm glad you liked those parts Alexander, because those are the parts I extended in the final version.

When will that FINALLY be done you say?! When the stupid song stops making me angry with rage >:(

Thanks for the review ^^.
