Hi NG, unfortunately I did not have the inspiration to continue with my previous WIP, but I did cook this one up as a something for someone, so everything works out!

Dude, I think this is great! I love the synths and progression and melodies. The breaks at 2:02 were really cool, and it's all very smooth-flowing and catchy and cool. The mixing was pretty good. It may be a little long-winded, but I think you did a great job keeping it interesting with the complex structure and use of dynamic contrast and all. You were among the top scorers in your group for a reason, man. ;) Keep up the great work! ^^

DjAbbic responds:

Ooh awesome, thanks for the review! :D

That build up was just incredible! Wow...
It's so chill yet so full of energy at the same time!
I'll be looking out for more of your music!

DjAbbic responds:

Awesome, glad you like it! :)

Great song! The synth work is fantastic, and the build up was amazing!
But tbh, I really didn't like the drop, it was a bit underwhelming after the near perfect build. My main problems with it are 1, it could use more bass, it sounds a bit empty, and 2, it sounds WAY too much like Sonar Propagation (Especially the first drop) but I did like second drop.
But still, amazing build. And overall, good song!

DjAbbic responds:

Interesting points. I agree with your point about the emptiness, one of my friends pointed that out as well, but I struggled to fit more bass in there without obscuring another sound. Unfortunately when working with complextro, I need to make sure each sound can be heard and I'm still learning how to integrate as much bass as possible.

As for sounding like Sonar Propagation, I can hear what you mean now that I listen back. I don't know what happened there, but I've probably somehow developed a taste for the way I structured the sequence of the synths. Hopefully I grow out of that.

Thanks for the constructive review, glad you liked it :)

I'm still taking my first baby steps making electronic music, so I'm not exactly a pro. That being said, here's what I thought:

Feels very smooth. I particularly like the drum work before each break, those are really good transitions! I didn't really hear much bass, but I listened to this on a laptop with no headphones at work, so can't knock you there.

On a side note:

Random peeps at work were head bobbing to it as they walked by me, so you're onto something!

DjAbbic responds:

I'll keep workin' to keep them heads bobbin'. Thanks for the review :)

I love this tune man! Particularly the first drop, awesome work. Nice use of fades and stuff, to be honest I'm not too sure what goes into making electronic music, but I can tell you have done a fantastic job. Nicely done bro c:

DjAbbic responds:

Thanks for the review, and glad you enjoyed :D.
