A serene clearing, crystal waterfalls, and a beautiful wood-maiden in a world of her own.

Very good indeed.

This was definitely well done. You can easily picture a peaceful scene of a waterfall "and a rainbow flowing out of it."(eh, its corny, but I like it)
And to Yettan. That single phrase " 'Memory' from Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats..."
drives me insane. I'm sorry, but I heard that WAY too much in the movie "Jersey Girl" Anyways....

My hats off to you good sir.

very good

The first part of the melody sounds almost identical to "Memory" from Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats...

This is very good, you definately captured the atmosphere you were seeking to

Grumbleduke responds:

Funny, you're not the first person to say that...

Nicely done.

You could sense a bit a sorrow every now and then, one could assume that this world was made out of resentment or avoidance for the pain of what really happened.

Very soft and not over the top one bit, every instrument served a specific purpose and that's good mastery.

There's not much criticism other then the amount of instruments you let into the song at once, it created a sort of monotonous behavior among what you wanted to execute.

Holy wow!

This is such a beautiful song. The first half of the melody reminds me of something i heard before... oh well.

I have to say that i really love the harp and the flute in this piece. Maybe add some little bird sound fx, but very low volume, soft little bird noises lol.

The only thing i would have changed is the ending. I would remove the little silence part before the final notes and have it chained with the rest of the song.

All in all it's and awesome piece and i wish you the best of luck for this month's contest :)

Serene Indeed!

You set the mood very well, nothing sounded out of place.

I enjoyed the flute at the beginning, it was at a good volume, although it ended too abruptly, it sounded like the flute had missed a few notes (increase the release of the flute to trail off). The cello could have been slightly louder, and on the quicker notes the attack should have been quicker, it sounded electronic with each new note.

Consider bringing in a few strings towards the middle of the piece to give it a little more body. It would help the piece feel like it's building and going somewhere. I could see strings entering and playing along with the flute the 2nd time in a high octave.

My orchestral remix of Defcon Zero kind of shows what I am talking about (no self-ad intended).

Great work, you have a diverse range of emotions displayed in all of your music. That is the sign of a more experienced artist!
