Happened to stumble on this... As an original member the fact NG is dying breaks my heart. It's a thread connecting my adult self to the 14 year old angst filled child I was back in 99. Not really any words to describe how I feel about it... I wish I could save it.

I remember back in 2005 when an uploaded track would literally get hundreds of hits and comments within days sometimes hours. But those days seem to be drying up. Out of curiosity I checked out google trends to see whats going on and as I suspect...this website is literally dying. Its kinda sad for developers like me who use this website as a "feeler" "tester" for material and also promote my websites to make it worthwhile. How do you people feel about this?
Well, I see most users either also or only upload their videos to youtube these days.
Games are also put on other sites online.
Art and Audio can be put on deviant art or plenty of musical sites. (audiojungle, soundcloud, etc.)
I wish it went back to the old days....

I agree. Now there are so many of these sites that the traffic on them is diluted badly.
