This sounds very nice!
Tried to create a middle-eastern piece. Fun fact: Arabian music uses 24 different tones as opposed to our 12.
This sounds very nice!
Seemed not well organized... still interesting
Noted! Thanks for the review!
This is very cool. In my school, and in most, if not all music schools in the U.S., we are taught music theory using the 12 tone system (as all of western and european music follows) but i always thought it would be cool to study middle eastern music where there are pitches that are never even used in our class of music. I especially like your use of percussion. Something that i really enjoy about middle eastern music, and even ethio-jazz music (guys like Astatke) the music seems to be much more percussive, which to me is extremely enjoyable and unique. you did a great job with that here.
The piece starts to even become cinematic at around 1:50 with your use of strings. where did you manage to get the voice sampling? it really sets the mood of the piece. Thanks for making this, its inspiring!
