While you listen, keep in mind this is a 4 day project, so perfection wasn't what I was really going for here. Looking for feedback to further improve my style
Headphones recommended, pretty hard to follow (it's supposed to be, given the name), you probably won't hear everything the first time through but if you do, props. I've only been working on this for about three days but it's BY FAR my favorite I've made. Previously called "Groovathon" I've re done it A LOT in the past day or so and I think I've made it as complete as it'll be.
Like what you hear? RATE AND REVIEW or I won't know what I could do better on, or what I've done well on. There's no way I can improve if you just rate low without saying anything.
Sorta throw back with some of those synths, I'm getting a game boy vibe.
I like how much you're mixing it up, but it feels almost a bit too experimental. Not to say that none of it works, all of it does...but there's a little too much variation to get a good groove going. You have about five minutes of breaks and fills in a two minute song, haha.
It was a very neat listen though.

Yeah what I was thinking is it sounds something like that old batman game for game boy or another 8bit game song, that wasn't really how I was hoping it'd sound but it works for the song i guess.
I definitely see what you mean about all the breaks, just seemed a bit boring to me without switching it up every two seconds. I always forget that I'm hearing it hundreds of times while making it, so what's boring to me might not be so bad to someone who's never heard it. I'll work on making the next one a bit more consistent lol

There we go, that is much much better. The bass sounds great now, with the perfect amount of hit. Didn't think you'd be able to add more ideas to this project, as usually when I revisit projects to try to extend them, I can never do it. The Fx's that you added to this usually for transitions are amazing, and keep the song fresh. I guess I will never get enough of that melody, it's genius. And the end? The end is superb how the synths stop completely at the beginning of the Fx.

Adding onto it wasn't tooo difficult, I just took the same harmony parts and put them into a sharp rave lead, and another electronic instrument I can't put my finger on and messed with em a little bit. I'm sure you'd be able to do something similar, fairly easy even if you just do a new bass with a tweaked bass line. And yeah, took me a bit longer than I'd hoped to time it right, especially to make the laughs and the "f**k off" near the end match up right. I'm glad you like the end, I wasn't sure if I could get it right with all the end cords and harmonies lol
I think that it is pretty cool.
