Full title is "I Tune For You (And I Miss You More Than Ever)," but I assume there's not enough room for all of that. :P Anyway...

This is probably my most emotional track by my fictional character of my Doovie Bros virtual cartoon band, Toby (Doovie Bros' lead guitarist, and occasional vocalist). I put a lot of emotion in it, and my new Line 6 UX2 REALLY brought it to life a lot better than my other cheaper amps that I've used previously. :P Still not perfect (still could probably use a better electric guitar), but I view this as another best... in a LONG time. :)

The song is supposedly written by Toby, as he wrote it for his wife, Carly, who he lost in a car wreck a while back when The Doovie band first got started. Toby was then left to raise his daughter Tierra on his own. After the accident, Toby left the band to try and overcome this tragedy (unsure if he'd come back or not). This caused Toby to become bitter, and he would often treat Tierra rudely. At the time, he was unsure about God existing. He figured if He did exist, why would He take his wife away? After a little while, Tierra suggested they go to church to experience what Carly used to talk about (as Carly had just became a Christian not long before the wreck). So eventually, Toby and Tierra went to a nearby church, realized they needed Christ (if you're a nonreligious person reading this, sorry if you're easily offended... :P ...well, I can't apologize though), and Toby and Tierra accepted Christ in their hearts. Ever since that day, Toby was never the same. He treated his daughter much better, and Toby rejoined the band stronger than ever. Toby and Tierra also were abandoned by their family, as they came from a background of mostly atheists. Toby didn't care though. "I know what the truth is," as he would say. ANYWAY... that's a long story, but Toby's background story is probably my favorite out of the background stories from the other Doovie band members. :) Although Toby's background has a bit of Christianity in it (as all 7 are Christians), The Doovie Bros are more of a secular band. So don't hate them and shut them out because of this story. You may still like them. :P They do make Christian based lyrics here and there, but not all the time.

Anyway, although this song its written for a fictional character by a fiction character (HA!), maybe it can apply to anyone else out there in real life who may have lost a loved one or something.

I'm currently working on having Toby sing a vocal version of this song. It's turning out kinda cool, but I was wondering if any female vocalist might want to collaborate with him... who knows, maybe sing her perspective from Heaven or something. :P

ALSO a minor note... but the reason it's called "I Tune For You" is because I played this in an alternate tuning... something I (or Toby) came up with. :)

Dude..... This is like Interactive novel type shit!
Have you thought about doing that?
A novel that has an actual life of it's own in the aural world while being stuck in the literal world!
Probably a first!!!!
It could use the "eye tracking" tech to guide the music to where the reader is...etc.
Still, a very nice piece!

Thanks! :) Ha, no I don't think I ever thought of that. That would be really interesting though. :D
