very pretty indeed - and beautifully mastered - you have to listen for a bit to really get into it - nice use of everything - and your naivity of what you use makes me laugh - you got some powerful software at your fingertips man - keep on doing what you're doing!

Man, this has got to be one of my favorite songs on newgrounds. The intro was very professional, and I love when the pizzicato and strings come in. The beat you got going there is very steady and crisp, and doesn't overpower the melody at all. And of course, the piano in here is excellent. I just learned how to play it on the keyboard the other day, myself. GREAT job, keep up the awesome work. I hope that collab works out sometime soon. :P

""...expectations surely 'Without Limits'.""

Nightvision, I must say this is a perfect combination of piano and classical with electronic/synthesized elements. From the peaceful, yet adventurous beginning, to the electronic transition into the faster part of the track, I enjoyed every second of this song. I'm sure listeners did as well. The depth of this song is perhaps what causes this track to have expectations surely "Without Limits". Good job.

Author's Response:

Thanks alot G9, I appreciate the heartfealt review. I'll continue to support your great efforts for as long as I can. (Through your other reviews, I can see what style you like best. By the way, I'm trying a bunch of genres to see how flexible my ideas are. So far so good.)

For everybody who is reading this, i'll let you know that G9 has done an outstanding job with his recurring audio podcast. It's definetely a must-listen for all NG'ers.

"NightVision - Without Limits (F)"

First Impression; "This isn't classical"
And I was right, First off, You need some better string/pizzicato strings. I liked your piano and some of the string-buildings.
But I really disliked the pizzicato sample.
Your drumming was good, but it had another quality level than the rest of the song, making it imbalanced. Lo-fi Strings and Hi-fi Drums.
It just clashed.

I think this song would be worth a 9-10 with some vocals to match your R&B tag.
This is really Fusion between Classical and R&B, but I feel that it fits more in the R&B section.

Anyhow, Great song. 8/10.
Ps; Check out my stuff, will ye? SoundTrack/Classical.
