I decided to go back to this for some reason. and mix it up a bit! made some new drums, some new sections, changed the structure, but most of all, did it Chiptune style!

Waterflame? Check. Cute-sounding chiptune? Check. Parody of older work? Check. Short enough to keep it interesting? Check. Long enough to have tons of substance? Check. Absolutely amazing. The only qualm I may have about this is that is loses a little bit of its progressive quality towards the end, but hell, it's Waterflame's chiptune. 5 stars, easy.

Waterflame you rarely disappoint, you're my favorite when it comes to an artist putting emotion into their music.

And yet once again you make my morning and day a lot brighter with your music. <3 Loved the original swirl, and I think I love this even more. Because I'm such a retro boy. Love em chiptunez sounds.

What goes through my mind when I hear this:

"Our Hero opened their front door, then began their normal cheerful 8-bit walk to school"

And then it's just an 8-bit school kid sprite doing a cheerful movement loop while passing by all the nice neighborhood people, who wave and say hello, and then every few houses something random happens for comedic effect. I wish I could animate, just so I could animate that. But yeah, good job, especially since it still upholds the great quality of the original. Looking forward to what comes next! Keep it up!
