Edo: A synonym for Tokyo.
Maniac: An insane person.

...Yep, that pretty much sums it up. Enjoy. b^'

This is it. The song of the city. This song has the feel of a city. Rush. Traffic. Your strengths are most certainly without a doubt mood and setting. And man, I'm getting huge nostalgia feeling for the Chemical Brothers here. do I sense influence? Maybe that's just a coincidence.. They influenced me, though I deviated towards my own path in electronic music. I hear more of them in you. And man, do I envy that.

This was a really pleasant surprise. I was thinking "oh boy... another 6 minute song that just loops the same thing over again" but this song actually justifies its length very well, with many different interesting parts.

I like 5:40 a lot - that weird vocal thing! - and 4:07 too.

I guess my main suggestion is that you could have really added a lot of variation to that drum loop. Also, the first half of the song is not nearly as interesting as the second half. Until I got to 4:07 I was kinda uninterested (though I was impressed by the mixing and the overall arrangement). Although it's varied well, there is still some problems with repetition. On the other hand you have a lot of good ideas (like again, that vocal thing at 5:40) that aren't expanded on.

Now these are the kind of reviews I'm looking for. Stating the pros and cons of a song. Being a bit of a perfectionist, I don't mind hearing some constructive criticism once in awhile. Thanks for the review. :) Also that weird vocal thing was done by me. ;)

Very nice mate!

Bass was great - and I loved the chords and pads to fill it out. The drums and samples were also great, although I think it could do with the drums being louder, maybe sidechained to the bass

although it was all great and full sounding you could of done with some melody in there or made the piano more audible

but anyway its hard to find dnb on ng with good drums and bass (lmao I didn't mean to do that) so I say this is definitely one of the best dnb i've heard on here in a while. you need more fans!

Thanks for that. I agree actually about the drums and the bass not fitting together well. I've thought about making a V2 of this one.

Lovely stuff. Nice tune and beat, with lots of bass at most points. Maybe have one overriding lead throughout over the track, but I had a hard time thinking of a negative!
