Between techno and video-game music, I found it tough to pick, simply because I could definitely see the track being used as funky menu music - but it is done in a techno style. Creating a track that blended DJing and production skills was a lot of fun, mostly because it doesn't take itself too seriously. Fun track to make and listen to, particularly the second-to-last segment! Please enjoy.

Great sounds man, perfect for a game menu or a ending level theme. I take .5 off due to me hearing a similar track before. Cant say where but 100% sure . Any who, keep up the good work.

H2opoloseal responds:

Hey Ruye! I won't bitch about the .5 star, I appreciate the review a ton! I'd be interested to hear the track you heard that was similar, here I thought I had done something unique! But I guess the world can only make so much music before some sounds similar eh? Thanks a ton my friend, several new tracks coming soon!

Very nice! What'd you use to make the dj sounding parts?

H2opoloseal responds:

Hey WarmanSteve, I used a combination of two things. I recorded the track out and actually did scratch it (what you call "DJ-sounding" is actually a transitional, beat-matching and remixing technique used by DJ's called 'scratching') with a pair of Numark TTX-USB's using time-coded vinyl, in a combination with a powerful time-manipulation VST called GrossBeat. I didn't want it to sound "over the top," I liked keeping the live-scratch sound. Thanks a ton for the great review, I worked really hard on it! That section of the track alone took a few days and many dozens of attempts to get right.
