This city is so ugly. It's so synthetic. So are its people. They may as well be robots. Towers upon towers upon towers of residentials, like ant colonies without the co-operation; or life, for that matter. But despite their artificiality, the brilliant lights everywhere still manage to dazzle... especially with all this rain.

Finally reaching the ground, you reminisce as you see a neighborhood not unlike the one you used to dwell in. Can't call it home, though, really. Ahh, well, enough of memories, maybe you should grab something to ea—wait. There. Your mark. You finally found them. Follow them, but be careful; they have a history of running.

Give chase.

I don't know what you would call this exactly... Steampunk? Whatever it is, it sounds fantastic. And listening to it while reading you description just made it that much better! Thanks for the song, can't wait for the next upload :D

Hahaha, well, close enough. I was aiming for cyberpunk. Thanks for the compliments! I'm scoring a couple of animations, so more's on the way!

Very cinematic indeed! I must say, you really do know how to put mood, setting, and story all in one place, regardless of the fact that this is an audio medium. That's darn good. Can't wait to hear more.

Pierceful responds:

Thank you very much! I feel very strongly about music developing, these days music overwhelmingly tends to be droning and static.

Wow, so eerie! I just love the description you wrote. You are so creative.
By the end of this I could see robot zombies everywhere.
