Gypsy, aka Romani is a group of ethnic reside everywhere in Europe. Well, if you heard of Gypsies, then you heard of pickpocket and squatting. These mischieves are excellent at both, more excel in thievery and crime than Sicilian mobs. You trust them? Your life ends the moment you befriend with a Gypsy!

I had this crazy idea in the mind, about making a concept album based off stereotype. This is my first work, probably very experimental.

This song has the cinematic/film-score elements but still able to have quirky feelings to it. Took me a while to study what scale does Romani music uses. At first I aimed for total traditional Gypsy music with accordion, French fiddle and guitar. But it was a failure.

So I did a little improvised work. The lead fiddle you hear in here is a Turkish fiddle. Turkish scale/tuning has little similarity to Arab music but still has Southern European elements in it. Drums are from Heavyocity Damage with totally workup drumlines. The guitars are from a DSK synth guitar. Flutes are just original Symphonic Orchestra stuff.

Review, Rate and Rage! :) Have fun and tell me what ya think!

It seemed a little too messy. Could also have more easy composition for dumb people like me.. Drums are fine but get very tiring for some reason..I don't like how violin/guitar goes up-down just by one or two notes every time.
I always make sounds like that arpeggiate inside a chord so it won't sound that weird.. You probably know better how to make this genre though..

Other than that good job. I like the stabs.
I hope this helps
