Time for that ol' skool shit! :D

If there's one thing I love it's old school Jungle. You know? Reese basslines, sick-ass breakbeats, ragga MC's, the works. How can such simple tracks be so damn good? I'll never know, but Jungle will ALWAYS have a place in my heart. I hope it has a place in yours too. :)

This one's pretty straight-forward. A dusty, old Piano starts along with a lush pad and a vocal sample of a lonesome woman lost to the ages. Things pick up as a smooth beat starts and the woman's voice is pitch-shifted like a mofo. Soon, a brooding low-key lick starts and the whole thing goes off at around the 2:00 mark as 808 Bass and breaks converge into an enigma of sound. What's that at 4:20 you may ask? Why it's the Amen break, one of the key elements of early Jungle tracks. That about sums it up. :)

Hope ya'll like this as much as I do. :)

simply awesome mate, you create such a dark yet beautiful atmosphere, I wish the drums were a bit more a bit more prominent when the breaks kick in but that might be cos its in mp3, I'd say its more breakcore than jungle but genres don't matter it's still amazing

was amazing when the drums kicked in though each different part is a bit long so maybe you might want to get into things a tad bit faster. not sure what jungle is though

Mophead367 responds:

Yeah, I'll admit it does take kind of a long time to get into everything. Wanted it to build slower than normal. :p

Jungle is what Drum 'n Bass spawned out of half-way through the 90's.

Drum-work is sick dude. The last minute and a half or so is soooooo nice.

Mophead367 responds:

That's the power of the Amen dude. It's dope as fuck. :)
