Electronic - Drum N Bass

Thankyou for listening.
Iv'e been working on this song everyday this week (except Wednesday) for many hours each day. I also kept listening to the song on both of my computers (windows 7 and a mac) and with two different headphones to help with the mixing. I don't have good headphones so that is what I had to do to make sure the kick and snare volumes were balanced.
This was made in fl studio 10.

Your content is always something to look forward to man, especially when I know you're trying different things and moving past your comfort zone.

I'm starting to like your synths, they've grown on me an awful lot. Although you could describe 1:30 as dull or boring, I think it's actually a nice break form the intense atmosphere you created beforehand.

It's a great song, yet there is still something missing. I can't put my finger on it, yet with your songs there is always a very slight emptiness. I don't know what it is, but it's diminishing as you get better!

Thankyou for the review :)
I think I know what's missing ; a good catchy melody that repeats itself throughout the song. I didn't focus on the melodies this time.

I like how you're shaking it up a little recently, BlueOceans! :D The intro was a little long, but I like the mood and funky, frantic synths ( :03). Transitions and structure were good. It got a little dull around 1:30; you might need some more variation there, but I like how you led into the more energetic part again. The melody is a little simple in the beginning, but I appreciate how you varied at 2:31. I didn't really like the instrument at 2:44 all that much, but I liked the way you ended the piece itself. Btw, DnB usually has a more prominent sub-bass, or at least a heavily layered bass, but this is still a cool track. Nice work! ;)

Thankyou for the review! I don't think 15 seconds was long for an intro, we probably have different opinions on when the intro ends. The last thing I did before I completed the song was lowered the sub bass a lot, that was a mistake :( . I agree it got dull around 1:30, but I like how relaxing that part of the song is. Next time I will keep the sub bass louder and try to add more variation and complexity to the melodies.
