"What I expected, yet not quite."

by: Kenik
date: July 10, 2008

First off, hats off to this. Excellent work on the entirety of the piece. I was expecting something the equivalent to movie epic, but instead was delightfully surprised by something just as good. As the piece went on, you fluidly blended from one mood to the next. The balance of instruments is kept throughout the entire song, and no part overstays it's welcome. The ending, while maybe generic, works wonderfully for the piece. Why change a working ending, right? So, in short, excellent work and may you "Eternally" keep your talent.

"Simply Astounding"

date: July 10, 2008

I have to say this is definetely one of the better pieces i have seen/heard on this site. As a violinist i want to be in the orchestra playing this. It definetely has the feel of a finale and just everything about it is amazing. I hope to hear this on an LSO album one day. Do you have any professional training in composition? I dont unfortunately but I still hope to be able to compose something so epic. Excellent work =D

"Astonishing, to say the least."

date: July 4, 2008

As a freshman violinist, I have at least enough knowledge to know that this may be one of the greatest classical pieces ever composed. Like everyone else I'm sure has said, this is simply epic, at least. I can't truly think of words to describe this piece. At 4:30 in the morning, I was compelled to give a standing ovation to a composer on Newgrounds. Granted, I didn't, but rest assured I applauded. Absolutely wondrous.

Wow Thank you!
I'm going to be a freshman (in college) pianist this upcoming fall semester. I'm so ascited. Greatest classical piece ever composed? nope. MY best classical piece ever composed. Totally. Still is haha.
With such kind words, I was compelled to respond lol
Thanks again

Just from the first phrase, I knew that this was gonna be amazing. I 5'd it immediately, lol.

Damn, I wish I could compose like you. Any advice?

"Amazing."

date: June 17, 2008

There simply aren't words to effectively describe my opinions on this, but I will try to voice them as well as I can possibly manage. This song is utterly magnificent. I haven't heard anything so beautiful in all my years of listening to music and taking band class. Hell, even after I played in an orchestra with the best musicians from several different districts, I haven't heard something so epic. I don't think improvements would even be possible without making something else flawed. I'm not the best critic, or the best at complimenting either, but I have to say, this is just too good. I think my ears had an orgasm, if that's possible. It's just that good.
