Good stuff. I like the sound. Certainly does the job of trance and just like many trance songs it's way too long. Quite good work, but unable to hold my interest for 8 minutes. After hearing all of your submissions I definitely think you should do more like this.

SoundSpectre responds:

Thank you for responding to the track, the length is pretty standard for a trance track but 8 mins is not for everyone, the intro, beakdown and outro make up a lot of those mins and when i produce i usually am thinking of the track as a tool for the DJ and try to make it DJ friendly for mixing :)

This track is very well put together. The kicks and snares really carry the overall sad emotion encompassed in the synth work. I enjoy the big-room feeling of this piece and it reminds me of the old school trance a lot of the old trance lovers enjoy. I think the build was done just right actually. In accordance with the old style of trance- this track was pulled off flawlessly. In a party environment this thing would take off. I honestly can't see anything I want to critique too much. Beautiful work man. I really mean that.

SoundSpectre responds:

Hey man, glad you like the track and that you picked up the oldskool feel as i am a bit of an oldskool head and it seems to come through in a lot of my work, thanks for listening and the feedback :)

This is really really good stuff man. Loving the sad feel. The mixing is really well done - when we get to the main section, the song feels appropriately massive. Knocking a star and a half mainly because it feels a tad generic (in terms of sounds, arrangement, etc.) and repetitive (after I had gotten to the 2-3 minute mark, I had pretty much heard everything the song had to offer). My other complaint is that the one buildup you have at around 5:00 is slightly disappointing, as what you drop into sounds exactly like what you were doing before hand.

But I really enjoy this piece, so don't let my whining get you down! Great work - and looking forward to hearing more from you. I would particularly be pumped to hear you experiment more with arrangement and melodic diversity. Scouted.
