Today, I bought a drum set for my oldest kid. (and me)...
All of a sudden, my middle child (9 yrs old) wanted to play them. So I showed him a simple beat. Within minutes he was doing it. In an hour, we recorded this, completely unrehearsed. I just used one room mic so the quality is shit, but I had to fucking share.
I have to mention that this was completely unexpected as my kid has never ever seen a drum kit up close...just mind blowing.
I should also mention that the kit isn't fully set up either. Just a snare, kick and high hat.

lmao man, I am not even kidding when I say this, your kid plays drums a lot better than me, the last time I was on a kit I could barely keep a beat up for a couple of seconds man XD Your kid has a future doing this shit man! Props

Awesome man, he can already play better than Lars Ulrich, haha. All you need now is a decent interface and a few mics for the kit, and some time to learn how to mic/mix live drums and next thing you know you'll have a family metal band, Dad N' Da B'ys (I guess that would be the Newfie version..haha)

It's a beginner kit. Not going to spend the time mic ing it all up. I have the means, just not the desire, yet.

Hello fucker! Yes, I'm a lucky fucker, these kidlets are fucking badass, well mannered little humans.
There is a hole I'm in, Scheify, but it is not a musicless hole. I'm doing a LOT of custom shit for that movie. I am no longer scoring it, but credits, opening closing, bar scenes, club scenes...every piece of non cinematic music is mostly me. I am currently working on an UUUUUBEr acoustic piece. (I know right)...it's pretty sick, I think.
Also some cinematic stuff too. But yeah, I've been dying to release some stuff on newgrounds, but I'm locked in a contract...haha. So I'll have to write something specific for here.
