I woke up
in a strange place
like I've been misplaced
The hills are green
feels so serene
a beautiful scene
right out of a dream
the ocean sits a few miles away
it looks so inviting but no time to play
Don't know where I am gotta find my way
I walk around for an hour just looking around
i see some old buildings that are real run down
I searched and searched but no sign of life
so I'll use these buildings as shelter for the night
but as it goes to dark the torches come on
leading to a hallway I hear a song
I follow the sound no matter where it goes
I come to some stairs leading down below
white marble stairs and jewels are encrusted
none of the metal supports here are rusted
I hear voices but that can't be right
i looked around before there's no one in sight
I get the near bottom now it's time for some answers
Look through the door and they're ball room dancers
How can this be right through them i see
Dressed like Victorian Aristocrats
the room intact not a single crack
They move quietly without a care
like multicolored lights
moving round in the air
so peaceful no hate no fear
watching them reminds me why I ran away
my eyes can't handle my family's decay
seeking peace and here I found it
a beautiful world my mind can stay grounded
Pure white stairs at the back of the hall
Drapped in red carpet decorating this ball
I walk forward no one notices me
i feel serenity like wind blowing through a tree
Behind the curtain is a door labeled home
I think I'd rather stay here and be all alone
This world is here and I got a chance
I'll find some seeds and grow some plants
sustain myself like a real man should
This is now my new home...for good

Pretty good, like the beat, but you could use a little more time to polish off your work and the few rough edges here and there.

I love the tune, i just think the lyrics need to be more clear, maybe louder as well.
