just a short loop I made off a midi I made of enya's song a few years back.. done with binaural(holophonic) panning.

just a fun loop with 8-bit sounds :)

be sure to check out the orchestral and holophonic versions of this as well!

orchestral:

holophonic:

thanks newgrounds for the most popular chart listing!

*EDIT* converted to 432 hz for truer sound :)

I like this better than the other version due to the mixing but the other version has potential too but the way you mixed electronic sounds with accordion (at least i think thats what it is) or whatever instrument if I'm wrong, sounds good but it's really short. Good job anyhow.

Chronamut responds:

it's all 8-bit lol.. it just sounds like an accordian for some odd reason hahaha..

I highly recommend you listen to the holophonic version of the orchestral one as the mastering is both holophonic AND stereo.. the orchestral version was more like an ingredient piece for the final version, but I figured people might enjoy it on it's own as well.

This song is holophonic so naturally the stereo is much better as there really is no need to mix it.. everything is simply where it should be - that is the beauty of holophonic stereo :)

and it's meant to loop :)

thanks for the review!

Sounds quite amazing :)

Chronamut responds:

why thank you - it's amazing what you can do with simple 8-bit is it not?

Accordion bliss! Haha Very nice open sound with holophonic 8-bit sounds. Very different and unique! Never heard any style like this. Some reason this reminds me of the Guardian Legend theme on the NES. Awesome to see you're getting back into music again, Shawn! :-)

Chronamut responds:

thanks man.. it's slow going but I hope to get back into the swing of things as soon as I can repair my computer I hope to get back up and running fully :)

and yes he holophonic sound is amazing.. really impressed with it :)

also you're not the first person to say that lol..

and yeah it's good to be back :)

thanks for the review Byron! :)

I just <3 Enya. :) Really chill and smooth, even though you wouldn't think so with 8-bit. Good job. :)

Chronamut responds:

that would be thanks to the holophonic stereo, which is higher quality than regular stereo :)

and I do too - in fact I don't know anyone who hates enya hehe..

thanks for the review! :)
