just a short loop I made off a midi I made of enya's song a few years back.. done with binaural(holophonic) panning.

just a fun loop with 8-bit sounds :)

be sure to check out the orchestral and holophonic versions of this as well!

thanks newgrounds for the most popular chart listing!

*EDIT* converted to 432 hz for truer sound :)

Yo man I like the song you chose to use, as this is a classic from a well respected artist. My request is that you please at least make the song longer or upload a second version, a longer one, maybe even one with a bit of a twist to it that wasn't in the original Carribean Blue. I gotta give this 5 stars although it was so short. Respect and I hope your comeback starts off on the right foot. Rooting for ya man and I hope to hear more great submissions :)

Chronamut responds:

thanks man.. if I resubmit it will probably be newly done.. I tried making the other versions longer.. it didn't seem to work.. my program also drastically altered the sound of then when I reopened it and now it sounds grating so I cannot even revisit it.. so I've been dealing with a lot of software issues.

Hopefully when I get my pc back up and running I can focus better on all this :)

thanks for the review!

This is by far my favorite version! The whole blend and instrument mixing works really well, and the high-pitched sound is gone! The end, for the third time, still has a harsh loop to it; however, if the music is in the background or you're not paying much attention, it's a lot softer of a transition. I'd still personally enjoy more padding on it so it's not too abrupt, but it could just be a style you were aiming for. I like it though, and I'm glad you're getting back into music making. I may see if I can make a few original songs, since remixing doesn't seem to be something I'd be able to do... We'll see, heh heh.

Chronamut responds:

hehe the high pitched sound is also gone out of the holophonic version now.. and I am working on extending it.. the fact I cannot find the original file is frustrating though.. I think the program sabotaged it as I had it originally..

the loop actually isn't too bad on this one.. but yeah there is nothing I can do to make it flow better.

and cool man - best of luck to you :)

thanks for the review!
