I was originally planning to make a dubstep song, but this is what happened, lol. Thankyou for listening! This is what my songs used to sound like before I became interested in trance music.

pretty cool. sweet melody ideas.

first thing that threw me off was that there is an odd note in your third chord. also, the snare/clap drags the song a bit.

on a plus side, your mixing is getting a lot better!

keep at it.

Thankyou for all your help, especially the advice for the kick. I changed the piano chords to make it less generic, I didn't realize a note was off. I don't play any instrument so I don't know a lot about chords. I love the snare and clap samples, their my favorite samples I have. I added compressors to those samples to make them louder, maybe that was why you didn't like them.

It's simple, but I like it! :D I like how you are constantly building on the main chords, and it loops really well. However, I think the piano could sound a bit more...full. Each chord seems to cut off a little too early for my tastes. It might have a little more presence if you turn up the "hold" knob in the INS tab for the channel settings for whatever instrument you used for it (it won't do this in FL Keys because it's pre-adjusted). Sorry if you know all this already, and I know that this is really picky of me. Other than that, though, I really like the instruments and structure, as well as the transition with the crash. Nice job! ;D

Thankyou for the review. The piano was meant to be a background instrument, actually every instrument was intended to be that way. I wanted to make a very simple song that was pleasurable to listen to rather than focusing on complexity and trying new things.
