"tone!"

date: February 7, 2007

ouch... well played but you need to seriously work on your tone. drive, trebly... your entire high end needs to come down a bit. otherwise... excellent.

Author's Response:

I should've warned you earlier, but I don't recommend listening to this song with the volume up loud! XD

That's the one thing that I'm trying to improve with my guitar playing, and that's my tone. For me, I think the tone matches this song...hard, crunchy metal. Thanks for the advice, I'll keep that in mind.

"gimme the prize (guitar solo)"

date: June 30, 2006

the sound giulity is bad but it is inded a great song.
i submited my own guitar solo as well. check it out!

Author's Response:

Yeah I love that song. It's a Queen song, by the way, from one of my favorite Queen albums A Kind Of Magic. It also appears in the movie Highlander, one of my personal favorite films. Unlike some of my other songs where I used GarageBand, I used Audacity for this one.

Sure, Il'l check it out. Thanks for the review!
